With a remarkable gate break strength of 16kN (3600 lbf) and a total MBS of 45kN (10,116 lbf), Weighing only 254 grams, The FP provides strength without sacrificing weight for all-day use at height. Each component undergoes meticulous hand-finishing for a smooth, free gate action – a hallmark of SMC carabiners. Additionally, every SMC carabiner is 100% hand-inspected for gate action and other functional characteristics before leaving the factory.
